Front-end.

Hand-built front-end for the times a platform would get in the way. Fast, accessible, and written for whoever works on it next.

What’s included

(05)

Your site or product needs something a site builder cannot do well, or the code you have is slow and hard to change.

  1. Hand-built pages and interfaces

HTML, CSS and JavaScript written for your design, without the weight a page builder adds.

  2. Speed

Images, fonts and scripts kept light, and pages measured for how fast they load and respond on ordinary phones.

  3. Accessibility

Proper headings, labels, focus states, keyboard use and contrast built in, then checked with a screen reader.

  4. Components that match the design

Front-end components built to match the design system one to one, so new screens reuse what already exists.

  5. Readable code

Clear structure, names that say what things do and short notes where the reason is not obvious. The next developer does not need us to explain it.

When you need it

  • Webflow, Shopify or a theme cannot do what your design needs.
  • Your pages are slow, especially on phones.
  • Your product has a design system but the code does not match it.
  • Nobody on your team wants to touch the current code.

How it runs

(04)

You get a written scope, a fixed price and a start date before anyone begins.

  1. Review

We look at the design, any existing code and where the site will be hosted, and agree in writing what gets built.

  2. Set up

Structure, styles and components laid down first, so every page after them is built the same way.

  3. Build

Pages and interactions built on a private link, checked on phones and desktop as each one is done.

  4. Hand over

Speed and accessibility tested, code handed over with notes, and the repository in your name.

What you leave with

  • Hand-built front-end code
  • Components that match your design system
  • Speed and accessibility checks, written up
  • Notes for the next developer
  • The code and repository in your name

FAQ

Answered questions.

When the design or the product needs something the platform cannot do cleanly, such as a custom interface, unusual layouts or tight speed targets. If a platform can do it well, we will say so, because it is easier for your team to run. See Webflow and Shopify for that route.

Yes. We read what is there first, follow the patterns your team already uses and keep our changes tidy so they are easy to review.

Mostly by sending less: smaller images, fewer fonts, less script and nothing loaded before it is needed. We measure before and after, on ordinary phones, so you can see what changed.

Accessibility is built in from the first page, not added at the end. We test with keyboards, screen readers, zoom and contrast checks before handover.
